Here's the simple version. Mephentermine is a stimulant that raises blood pressure and gets the heart and nerves going. Securinega suffruticosa contains securinine, an alkaloid that also revs up the nervous system by blocking some of the brain's natural calming signals. So you'd essentially be stacking two stimulants on top of each other. The worry is that their effects add up, leading to things like a racing or pounding heart, a spike in blood pressure, jitteriness, anxiety, or in a worst case, seizures.

I'll be honest, this concern is theoretical and based mostly on animal studies, not solid human evidence. Still, securinine is a genuinely risky plant. Please don't combine these without checking with your doctor or pharmacist first.
