Glucose brand name: IV Glucose.
Sesame has a moderate interaction with Glucose. Taking sesame oil with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Glucose
Glucose falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Sesame interacts with.
Clinical studies show that sesame oil can decrease plasma glucose and glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels. Some clinical research in patients taking glibenclamide shows that using sesame oil or a blend of sesame oil and rice bran oil in place of other oil for cooking reduces plasma glucose more than glibenclamide alone. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's a little wrinkle worth knowing. Sesame, especially as a cooking oil, may nudge your blood sugar down a bit on its own. That's based mostly on pharmacology and some small studies, so think of it as a possible effect rather than a sure thing.
Now, glucose itself is the opposite situation. IV glucose (or glucose tablets and gel) is given specifically to raise low blood sugar, often during a hypoglycemic episode. So sesame's mild sugar-lowering tendency works in the other direction from what glucose is doing. In real life, a serving of sesame on your food won't undo emergency glucose. If you regularly use sesame oil and also rely on glucose products, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your numbers.

By severity: 2 major · 215 moderate · 39 minor.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Glucose page
“Glucose given by IV raises a dangerously low blood sugar, and this list warrants real caution because most of its 256 ingredients pull the other way. Nearly all of them lower blood sugar on their own, working against the treatment and setting up another crash.”

About Sesame
What is Sesame?
- Heart and cholesterol health
- Blood pressure support
- Source of healthy fats and minerals
- Skin and hair care (topical oil)
- Antioxidant support
- Cooking and nutrition
Sesame is a nutritious seed and oil widely used in cooking and traditional medicine, and it provides healthy fats, fiber, and antioxidant compounds called lignans. Some early research suggests sesame may modestly help with cholesterol and blood pressure, but the evidence is limited. Sesame is also a common, sometimes serious, food allergen, so people with seed allergies should be careful.

Glucose Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Glucose as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Sesame — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
