Here's the situation with shepherd's purse and buprenorphine (Subutex, Sublocade, and the like). Buprenorphine already works as a mild sedating opioid, so it can make you feel drowsy, slow your breathing a bit, lower your blood pressure, or leave you feeling foggy. Shepherd's purse has been reported to have some calming, blood-pressure-lowering effects of its own, so the concern is simply that the two together could add up and leave you more sleepy or lightheaded than usual.

I want to be honest though: this is a theoretical caution based on how these things behave, not proven harm in people. Shepherd's purse isn't a strong sedative. Still, if you notice extra drowsiness or dizziness, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
