Tamoxifen Citrate falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Spearmint interacts with.

Theoretically, high doses of spearmint might increase the risk of liver damage when taken with hepatotoxic drugs.
Animal research suggests that drinking spearmint tea for 30 days can increase markers of liver damage, including aspartate aminotransferase (AST) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and cause liver degeneration and necrosis, in a dose-dependent manner. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist for your tamoxifen. This one is about your liver, not about how well tamoxifen fights cancer. Tamoxifen can occasionally raise liver enzymes or stress the liver on its own. The concern on file is that very high, concentrated spearmint doses might add to that liver burden, possibly nudging those same enzyme markers (AST and ALT) upward.

Now the important part: this is theoretical, and the liver findings came from animal studies using a lot of spearmint, not from people. The amount you'd get in cooking or a normal cup of spearmint tea is very unlikely to cause any trouble. If you're thinking about a daily standardized spearmint supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or oncologist first, since they already monitor your liver labs.

About Tamoxifen

What Is Tamoxifen Used For?

Brand names: Nolvadex, Soltamox

Tamoxifen is used to treat estrogen receptor-positive metastatic breast cancer in both women and men, and as follow-up (adjuvant) therapy after surgery for early-stage breast cancer in women. It also reduces the occurrence of cancer in the opposite breast when used as adjuvant therapy.

In women with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS — an early, non-invasive breast change) following surgery and radiation, tamoxifen lowers the risk of developing invasive breast cancer. It is also approved to reduce the risk of breast cancer in women who are at high risk but have not yet been diagnosed. Both Tamoxifen Citrate tablets and Soltamox oral solution share these indications.
