Deprol is a combination product that pairs meprobamate, a sedating anti-anxiety medicine, with benactyzine. Both calm the nervous system, so the medication itself can already make you feel drowsy, relaxed, or a little foggy. Tree turmeric (from its berberine content) may add a mild sedative push of its own, based on what's been seen in animal studies.

The concern here is simply that the two together might stack up, leaving you sleepier, dizzier, or slower to react than usual. I'll be honest: this is theoretical and only comes from lab and animal research, not human data, so it may not amount to much. Still, since meprobamate is already strongly sedating, it's worth mentioning to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
