Theoretically, tree turmeric might have additive effects when used with anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs and increase the risk of bleeding.
In vitro and animal research suggest that berberine, a constituent of tree turmeric, can inhibit platelet aggregation.

Here's the thing about cangrelor (Kengreal): it's a strong, fast-acting IV blood thinner that stops your platelets from clumping together. Doctors give it through a vein during heart procedures like stenting, and it works right away, so it's used in a closely monitored hospital setting. Tree turmeric contains berberine, which lab and animal studies hint may also make platelets less sticky. Put them together and you could, in theory, see a bit more bleeding or bruising.

I'll be honest with you though: this concern comes from test-tube and animal research, not solid human studies, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Since cangrelor is only given in the hospital, your care team is already watching for bleeding. Still, mention any berberine supplement to your doctor or pharmacist beforehand.
