ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Chlorpheniramine, Phenylephrine, Pyrilamine
Chlorpheniramine, Phenylephrine, Pyrilamine falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Wild Lettuce interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for this combo. Your Tanamine product contains two antihistamines, chlorpheniramine and pyrilamine, both of which already have noticeable anticholinergic (drying) effects. Wild lettuce may add a little anticholinergic activity of its own, though the evidence is weak and based mostly on case reports of people taking large amounts.
When you stack drying effects together, the worry is more of the same side effects you may already get from these antihistamines: dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, dizziness, trouble urinating, and feeling extra sleepy or foggy. The phenylephrine (a decongestant) isn't the concern here. A small culinary taste of wild lettuce likely won't matter much, but concentrated supplement doses could. If you'd like to use both, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

“Tanamine pairs two antihistamines, chlorpheniramine and pyrilamine, with phenylephrine, a decongestant that raises blood pressure and heart rate, and that mix is exactly why I treat its supplement list as high-stakes.
