ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Glycopyrrolate
Glycopyrrolate falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Wild Lettuce interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Glycopyrrolate is itself an anticholinergic, meaning it works by blocking that 'rest and digest' signal in your body to dry up saliva and cut stomach acid. Some reports suggest wild lettuce may have a touch of anticholinergic activity of its own, though the evidence is weak and any amount appears small.
The concern is stacking two things that pull in the same direction. If wild lettuce adds even a little anticholinergic effect on top of your glycopyrrolate, you could notice more of the usual side effects: a very dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, dizziness, trouble urinating, or feeling overheated. This is mostly a worry with larger supplement doses. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Glycopyrrolate page
“People take glycopyrrolate (Robinul, Seebri) to calm excessive sweating, drooling, or the airway secretions of COPD, and the 46 supplements on this list warrant real caution, the three rated major above all. Henbane and scopolia carry the same atropine-family alkaloids the drug mimics, so adding them can push dry mouth, racing heart, a…”
