The combo product you're asking about (Colrex) already has two ingredients that make people drowsy: chlorpheniramine (an antihistamine) and codeine (a mild opioid for cough). On paper, yerba mansa may add to that sleepiness, so taking them together could leave you feeling extra groggy, foggy, or unsteady. You might notice more daytime drowsiness, slowed reactions, or trouble concentrating.

I want to be honest about the strength here: this is a theoretical concern based on how these ingredients act, not something proven in studies. It's a reasonable caution, not a reason to panic. Be careful with driving until you know how you feel, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two.
