Iodine
Iodine is a mineral that is crucial for our body's ability to produce thyroid hormone, which helps control our growth, metabolism, and energy levels. A lack of iodine in the diet is a common problem around the world and can lead to intellectual development issues. Adding iodine to salt (i.e., iodized salt) has helped reduce this problem. Iodine is commonly utilized as a dietary supplement, both in multivitamin preparations and as a standalone ingredient as it is purported to have overall health and wellness benefits, not just in those who are deficient. One such standalone iodine product is 'Iodoral'. Studies have shown iodine supplementation may help improve cognitive function and boost energy levels but more research is needed. It is recommended that you should be under medical supervision if you plan on taking iodine as there may be a risk of certain side effects with high dosages.

General Statements |
- Mangaplex-E provides pre-digested nucleic acids from the Anterior Pituitary and Spleen, along with Manganese as a gluconate and Vitamin E as d-alpha tocopherol acetate. Alfalfa and kelp are also included.
These ingredients are combined in a synergistic formula designed to support blood formation, endocrine function and ligament strength and tone.
While the pituitary is a tiny gland, the implications of its functions are spread throughout the entire body. Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) controls the activation of the thyroid, which in turn, governs the full spectrum of metabolic functions. Gonadatropin-releasing hormone stimulates gender specific sex hormones in both men and women. Adrenal response also has its origins in this part of the brain.
The genius of this Dr Hanson formula is easy to grasp when it is compared to more recent nutritional methods of treating endocrine disorders. Today, much of the emphasis is on replacing hormones with artificial or phytonutrient analogues, whereas Dr Hanson has designed this formula to provide balance at the very beginning of the chain of events that control almost every function in the body.
