The evidence supporting these ingredients is limited. Frankincense carries insufficient reliable evidence for acne, aging skin, back pain, cancer-related fatigue, and radiation dermatitis.
Myrrh shows the same picture for back pain, cancer, common cold, dental issues, and Crohn disease; it is rated likely ineffective for schistosomiasis. Catechu and the other ingredients lack established effectiveness ratings in the data we hold.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Frankincense is generally well tolerated when used topically or by inhalation short-term, but topical use may rarely cause dermatitis, irritation, or itching — and in isolated case reports, allergic skin reactions including contact dermatitis. The data advises against use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding due to insufficient safety information.
Myrrh is considered okay for short-term topical or mouth-rinse use, but oral safety isn't well studied. Orally, it may cause diarrhea at higher doses (2–4 grams).
The data advises against use during pregnancy because myrrh is traditionally said to stimulate the uterus, and one case report documented severe abdominal pain in a pregnant woman taking it. Safety while breastfeeding is unknown.
Catechu is likely fine for short-term use in food-like amounts, but concentrated supplements lack human safety data. It too should be avoided during pregnancy and when breastfeeding, due to insufficient information.
Dragon's Blood has limited human safety data and should be avoided in pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

Resinall K by Health Concerns Drug Interactions

Resinall K by Health Concerns contains several ingredients with documented interactions with medications.
The most serious concern is myrrh, which may decrease the effectiveness of warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner used to prevent clots. This is a Moderate-severity interaction — myrrh can lower your INR (international normalized ratio), the measure doctors use to make sure warfarin is working right.

Myrrh also carries a Moderate interaction with diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs); it may theoretically increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Catechu, another ingredient here, has Moderate interactions with blood-pressure drugs (antihypertensive drugs), possibly raising the risk of blood pressure dropping too low.
It may also increase levels of theophylline and other CYP1A2 substrates — a group of medications processed a particular way by your liver — and could theoretically interfere with immunosuppressants.

Frankincense
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase the levels of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP1A2 enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 2C19 (Cyp2C19) Substrates
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase the levels of CYP2C19 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP2C19 enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 2C9 (Cyp2C9) Substrates
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase the levels of CYP2C9 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP2C9 enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 2D6 (Cyp2D6) Substrates
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP2D6 enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 3A4 (Cyp3A4) Substrates
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might increase or decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata gum resin inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Other in vitro research shows that Boswellia serrata extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes at most concentrations, although it may modestly induce enzyme activity at low concentrations.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, Boswellia serrata might alter the effects of immunosuppressive drugs.
Some in vitro research suggests that Boswellia serrata extracts might inhibit mediators of autoimmune disorders such as leukotrienes and reduce production of antibodies and cell-mediated immunity. However, other in vitro research suggests that, when coupled with calcium ions, boswellic acids containing the keto group have immunostimulant properties within specific cell signaling pathways.
Catechu
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Catechu might lower blood pressure.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, black catechu may increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
Animal research shows that black catechu can increase theophylline concentrations in the blood, possibly by inhibiting CYP1A2. Theophylline is a CYP1A2 substrate.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, catechu might interfere with immunosuppressant therapy.
Animal and in vitro studies suggest that catechu has immunomodulating effects.
Theophylline
Theoretically, black catechu may increase the levels and clinical effects of theophylline.
Animal research shows that black catechu can increase theophylline concentrations in the blood, possibly by inhibiting cytochrome P450 1A2.
Tienchi
Aspirin
Theoretically, taking Panax notoginseng concomitantly with aspirin may increase the risk of adverse effects from both products.
Animal research shows that taking Panax notoginseng extract with aspirin increases blood levels of salicylic acid by approximately 50% and blood levels of Panax notoginseng by 75% to 196%. This effect may be due to increased absorption of both products.
Caffeine
Theoretically, taking Panax notoginseng may decrease the levels and clinical effects of caffeine.
Animal research shows that administering Panax notoginseng intravenously for 7 days before intraperitoneal injection of caffeine can decrease maximal blood levels of caffeine by 37%. This interaction is attributed to the ability of Panax notoginseng to increase the activity of cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) enzymes.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, taking Panax notoginseng might reduce the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
Animal research shows that administering Panax notoginseng intravenously for 7 days before intraperitoneal injection of caffeine can decrease maximal blood levels of caffeine by 37%. This interaction was attributed to the ability of Panax notoginseng to increase the activity of CYP1A2.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, taking Panax notoginseng concomitantly with warfarin may increase the risk of bleeding.
Animal research shows that taking Panax notoginseng concomitantly with warfarin increases plasma warfarin levels, prothrombin time, and international normalized ratio when compared with control. In vitro research also suggests that Panax notoginseng may downregulate expression of cytochrome P450 3A4 enzymes, which may affect warfarin metabolism.
Myrrh
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, myrrh might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
In vitro and animal research suggests that myrrh has hypoglycemic effects.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Theoretically, myrrh might decrease the effectiveness of warfarin.
In one case, a patient who was previously stable on warfarin had a significant decline in international normalized ratio (INR) following consumption of an aqueous extract of myrrh.
