STIMULANT DRUGS
Why this applies to Aminophylline, Amobarbital, Ephedrine
Aminophylline, Amobarbital, Ephedrine falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group 1,3-dmaa interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing about Amesec: it already contains two stimulants. The ephedrine revs up your 'fight or flight' system, and aminophylline (a theophylline-type drug) gives a stimulant kick of its own. DMAA is also a powerful stimulant, very similar in action to amphetamine. So you'd basically be stacking stimulant on top of stimulant.
When you combine them, the worry is too much stimulation at once. That can mean a racing or pounding heart, a sharp rise in blood pressure, tremors, anxiety, trouble sleeping, and in serious cases chest pain or heart rhythm problems. This concern is based on how these drugs work rather than hard trials, but DMAA is already considered unsafe and is banned in supplements. Please skip it and check with your doctor or pharmacist.
