ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Hyoscyamine
Hyoscyamine falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Angel's Trumpet interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version: hyoscyamine is itself an anticholinergic medicine, meaning it already blocks acetylcholine to calm down spasms in your gut or bladder. Angel's Trumpet contains atropine, scopolamine, and similar compounds that do the very same thing. So you'd be stacking two drying agents on top of each other, and the effects pile up.
That doubling can push the usual hyoscyamine side effects into overdrive: severe dry mouth, blurry vision, constipation, trouble urinating, a racing heart, and at higher levels confusion or hallucinations. While this warning is based on how these chemicals work rather than head-to-head studies, I'd treat Angel's Trumpet as genuinely dangerous since it's poisonous on its own. Please don't combine them, and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

About Hyoscyamine
What Is Hyoscyamine Used For?
Brand names: Levsin, Levsin SL, Levsin Injection
Hyoscyamine is mainly used as adjunctive (add-on) therapy for peptic ulcer and irritable bowel syndrome. It also helps control stomach acid, muscle spasms and overactive movement in the gut and bladder. This includes spastic colitis, spastic bladder, cystitis, pylorospasm and related abdominal cramps.
Many products are also used with morphine or other narcotics for biliary and renal colic, as a “drying agent” for acute rhinitis, and for neurogenic bladder and bowel problems. Some products add other uses, such as parkinsonism, infant colic (elixir and drops), poisoning by anticholinesterase agents, or use before anesthesia and diagnostic procedures (injection). Not every product is approved for every use.
