ANTIDIABETES DRUGS
Why this applies to Insulin Aspart
Insulin Aspart falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Apple Cider Vinegar interacts with.
Apple cider vinegar might reduce fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels and decrease gastric emptying in people with diabetes. However, not all research agrees. Theoretically, it might have additive effects on glucose levels when used with antidiabetes drugs.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with Fiasp (insulin aspart): this is a fast-acting mealtime insulin that directly lowers your blood sugar. Apple cider vinegar may nudge your blood sugar down a little on its own, partly by slowing how fast your stomach empties after a meal. So in theory, pairing the two could stack their effects and bump up your risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). That can show up as shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, dizziness, or feeling confused.
To be fair, the evidence here is modest and mixed, and a splash of vinegar on a salad is unlikely to cause trouble. Larger, concentrated supplement doses are where I'd pay more attention. If you use ACV regularly, keep checking your sugars and chat with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.

“Every one of the 239 supplements listed for insulin aspart (Fiasp) touches the same thing the drug exists to manage, blood sugar, so this list warrants genuine care rather than a quick skim. Most entries add to insulin's glucose-lowering effect, raising the risk of hypoglycemia, and with a rapid-acting mealtime insulin a low can become…”

About Apple Cider Vinegar
What is Apple Cider Vinegar?
- Blood sugar support
- Weight management
- Digestive upset
- Appetite control
- Skin and hair care
Apple cider vinegar is a fermented apple product that many people use hoping to help with blood sugar, weight, or digestion. The evidence for most of these uses is limited and mixed, and the modest effects seen in small studies are not a substitute for proven treatments. When diluted and used in small amounts it is generally safe for most people, but undiluted vinegar can harm teeth and the throat.
About Insulin Aspart (rDNA Origin) Injection
What Is Insulin Aspart (rDNA Origin) Injection Used For?
Brand name: Fiasp
Insulin aspart is used to improve blood sugar (glucose) control in people with diabetes mellitus. It is approved for both type 1 and type 2 diabetes in adults, and for diabetes mellitus in pediatric patients.
Insulin Aspart Protamine and Insulin Aspart Mix 70/30 is a pre-mixed product that combines a rapid-acting and an intermediate-acting insulin aspart. It is approved to improve blood sugar control in adult patients with diabetes mellitus. It is not recommended for treating diabetic ketoacidosis, and because its ratio of rapid-acting to intermediate-acting insulin is fixed, it does not allow for separate mealtime versus background dose adjustments.

Insulin Aspart Is Linked to Lower Levels of One Nutrient
Natural Medicines records Insulin Aspart as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Apple Cider Vinegar — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
