Hydroflumethiazide falls under DIURETIC DRUGS — the group Apple Cider Vinegar interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of apple cider vinegar with diuretic drugs might increase the risk of hypokalemia.
A case of hypokalemia related to chronic use of apple cider vinegar has been reported. There is some concern that people taking apple cider vinegar along with potassium depleting diuretics might have an increased risk for hypokalemia.

Here's the thing to keep in mind with Saluron (hydroflumethiazide). It's a thiazide-type water pill, and one of its known effects is lowering your body's potassium level over time. Apple cider vinegar, when taken in large or regular amounts, has also been linked in rare reports to low potassium. So the worry is that stacking the two together could push your potassium lower than you'd want.

To be fair, this is mostly theoretical and based on a single case report, so it's not a strong signal. A splash of vinegar on your salad isn't the concern. Daily ACV shots or concentrated supplement doses are what to be cautious about. Watch for muscle cramps, weakness, or an irregular heartbeat, and let your pharmacist or doctor know so they can check a potassium level.
