Tobutamide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Avocado Sugar Extract interacts with.

Theoretically, avocado sugar extract might increase blood glucose levels, and decrease the effects of antidiabetic agents. Dose adjustments to diabetes medications might be necessary. Some antidiabetes drugs include glimepiride (Amaryl), glyburide (DiaBeta, Glynase PresTab, Micronase), insulin, metformin (Glucophage), pioglitazone (Actos), rosiglitazone (Avandia), and others.

Tolbutamide (Mobenol) is an older sulfonylurea that works by nudging your pancreas to release more insulin, which lowers blood sugar. The concern here is that avocado sugar extract may push your blood sugar in the opposite direction. If that happens, it could blunt how well tolbutamide controls your numbers, and you might notice higher readings, more thirst, or more frequent urination.

I want to be honest about how thin the evidence is: this comes only from lab and animal research, so it is theoretical and far from proven in people. Ordinary avocado in your meals is not the worry, concentrated supplement doses are. Please don't change your tolbutamide on your own. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor and keep an eye on your home glucose checks.
