Vardenafil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP3A4 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and competitively inhibit CYP3A4, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.

Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear vardenafil (Levitra, Staxyn) out of your system. In some lab studies, bacopa appeared to slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened in real life, vardenafil could hang around longer and reach higher levels, which might bump up its usual side effects like headache, flushing, a stuffy nose, dizziness, or a drop in blood pressure.

Here's the reassuring part: this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube and animal research, and the lab findings actually conflict with each other. Vardenafil works on its own, so bacopa wouldn't weaken it. Still, since vardenafil can affect blood pressure, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.
