Here's the gist: desiccated thyroid extract (like Westhroid or WP Thyroid) gives your body thyroid hormone, and bacopa might nudge your own thyroid hormone levels up a little too. In one mouse study, bacopa raised T4 by roughly 40 percent. So the worry is an additive effect, meaning the two together could add up to a bit more thyroid activity than your dose alone.

I want to be honest about how soft this is. It's theoretical, based on animal data, and rated only minor. If it ever did matter, you'd watch for signs of too much thyroid hormone: a racing or pounding heart, feeling jittery or warm, trouble sleeping, or unexpected weight loss. Don't change anything on your own. Just give your pharmacist or doctor a heads-up that you're taking bacopa so they can keep an eye on your thyroid numbers.
