Acetaminophen, Pamabrom, Pyrilamine falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Camphor interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of camphor with other hepatotoxic drugs might increase the risk of liver damage.
There have been a few case reports of transient elevations in liver enzymes in adults after oral or topical use of camphor. There has also been one case of hepatotoxicity in an infant after topical camphor use.

Here's the thing to know about products like Midol or Pamprin: one of the ingredients is acetaminophen (the same medicine as in Tylenol), and acetaminophen is the classic example of a drug that can stress the liver if you take too much. Camphor, especially the rub-on kind, has been linked in a handful of case reports to mild, temporary bumps in liver enzymes. The worry is that stacking two things that lean on the liver could, in theory, add up.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not something proven to commonly happen, so I don't want you to panic. Using camphor on your skin as directed alongside an occasional dose of Pamprin is generally low risk for most people. Still, if you use camphor often, drink alcohol, or already have liver concerns, run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.
