Carbidopa, Levodopa, Entacapone falls under GLUCURONIDATED DRUGS — the group Cannabidiol (cbd) interacts with.

Cannabidiol might increase levels of certain glucuronidated drugs.
In vitro research shows that cannabidiol inhibits uridine diphosphoglucuronosyl transferase (UGT) 1A9 and UGT2B7, enzymes responsible for glucuronidation. Theoretically, this could decrease the clearance and increase levels of glucuronidated drugs.

Here's what's going on with Stalevo (carbidopa/levodopa/entacapone) and CBD. One piece of this combo pill, entacapone, is cleared from your body partly through a process called glucuronidation. Lab studies (just test-tube research, not people) suggest CBD might slow those particular enzymes. In theory, that could let entacapone linger a bit longer and nudge its levels up.

If that happened, you might notice more of the usual levodopa-related effects, like nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or extra involuntary movements (dyskinesia). I want to be honest though: this is theoretical and based on early data, so it may not amount to much in real life. Since Parkinson's dosing is finicky, I'd just run the CBD by your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
