Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
TESTOSTERONE
In vitro research suggests that chrysin and its sulfate conjugate inhibit testosterone metabolism. It is speculated that chrysin and its sulfate conjugate reduce the metabolism of testosterone by inhibiting cytochrome P450 3A4. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with chrysin and your testosterone undecanoate. In test-tube studies, chrysin seems to slow down an enzyme (CYP3A4) that helps your body break down testosterone. The theory is that if less testosterone gets cleared, a bit more could hang around, slightly bumping up both the wanted effects and the side effects. With testosterone, that might look like acne, oily skin, mood swings, fluid retention, or a higher red blood cell count over time.
I want to be straight with you though: this is purely lab-based speculation and has never been shown to happen in real people. On top of that, the body absorbs very little chrysin. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but since testosterone is dosed carefully, it's worth a quick mention to your doctor or pharmacist before adding chrysin.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Testosterone Undecanoate page
“The supplement list for testosterone undecanoate (Jatenzo, Aveed, Kyzatrex, Andriol) deserves real attention before you combine it with much of anything, and the seven major-rated entries are where I would start. About Chrysin
What is Chrysin?
- Bodybuilding and testosterone support
- Anxiety and stress
- Anti-inflammatory
- Antioxidant support
- Prostate health
Chrysin is a plant flavonoid sold mainly as a bodybuilding supplement claimed to raise testosterone or block estrogen, but human studies have not shown these benefits, largely because the body absorbs very little of it. Evidence for its other proposed uses is mostly limited to laboratory and animal research, so its real-world value is unclear. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
About Testosterone Injection
What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand names: Andriol, Aveed, Jatenzo, Kyzatrex
Testosterone injections replace testosterone when the body makes too little or none. The label describes this in men with primary hypogonadism (a problem in the testicles) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (a problem with the pituitary or hypothalamus signals).
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected boys with clearly delayed puberty. It may be used secondarily in some postmenopausal women with advanced, inoperable breast cancer that has spread to the bone, under an oncologist’s direction. Aveed is for hypogonadism in men and is not for use in women.
