Chrysin + Bromfenac Sodium
Bromfenac Sodium brand names: Prolensa, Bromsite.
Chrysin has a moderate interaction with Bromfenac Sodium. Theoretically, chrysin might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Bromfenac Sodium
Bromfenac Sodium falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chrysin interacts with.
In vitro evidence suggests that chrysin might inhibit platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind with this pairing. Bromfenac eye drops are an NSAID, and like other NSAIDs they can slightly nudge up bleeding risk. Chrysin, in test-tube studies only, appears to make platelets a little less sticky. Put those two together and the theory is you might bruise or bleed a touch more easily, though this is based on lab work, not real patients.
Honestly, with bromfenac the dose that actually reaches your bloodstream from an eye drop is very small, so a meaningful body-wide bleeding effect is unlikely. Still, if you notice unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or slow-to-stop bleeding, or if you take blood thinners, mention the chrysin to your pharmacist or doctor before continuing.

About Chrysin
What is Chrysin?
- Bodybuilding and testosterone support
- Anxiety and stress
- Anti-inflammatory
- Antioxidant support
- Prostate health
Chrysin is a plant flavonoid sold mainly as a bodybuilding supplement claimed to raise testosterone or block estrogen, but human studies have not shown these benefits, largely because the body absorbs very little of it. Evidence for its other proposed uses is mostly limited to laboratory and animal research, so its real-world value is unclear. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it.
