Chlorpropamide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Cinchona interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cinchona might inhibit cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) and increase levels of drugs metabolized by this enzyme.
Quinidine, a constituent of cinchona, inhibits CYP2D6-mediated metabolism in humans.

Here's the honest picture with cinchona and chlorpropamide. Cinchona contains quinidine, which can block a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. The thinking is that this slowdown could let drugs cleared by that enzyme build up in your body. On paper that would mean a stronger blood-sugar-lowering effect, raising the chance of low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, confusion, dizziness).

That said, I'd take this one with a grain of salt. It's a theoretical concern based on pharmacology, not real-world cases, and chlorpropamide is actually cleared mostly through other routes, not heavily through CYP2D6. The bigger worry is cinchona itself, which is unpredictable and can be hard on your heart. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
