Theoretically, taking cinchona with other QT interval-prolonging drugs might cause an additive effect and increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias.
Quinidine and quinine, which are constituents of cinchona, prolong the QT interval.

Here's the heart of it: cisapride is well known for stretching out the heart's electrical reset time, something doctors call the QT interval. That's actually why it was pulled from regular pharmacy shelves, because a longer QT can lead to a dangerous, irregular heartbeat. Cinchona bark contains quinine and quinidine, and those compounds push the QT interval in the same direction.

Put the two together and you may stack one QT-lengthening effect on top of another, which could raise the odds of palpitations, fainting, or a serious arrhythmia. This concern is based on how these drugs work rather than strong studies, but with cisapride the stakes are high enough that I wouldn't take chances. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist before combining them.
