In laboratory research, cnidium has been shown to have sedative and hypnotic effects, possibly related to constituent coumarins. Theoretically, cnidium may potentiate the effects of barbiturates, other sedatives, and anxiolytics.

This combination product contains codeine, which is an opioid that already slows down your brain and body. Cnidium matters here because of the codeine piece. In lab and animal studies, cnidium (mostly its coumarin compounds) has shown sedative, sleep-promoting effects. Stacked on top of codeine, the worry is simple addition: more drowsiness, foggy thinking, slower breathing, dizziness, or feeling unusually relaxed or out of it.

To be fair, this is theoretical and based only on test-tube and animal research, not on people taking both together, so the real-world risk in humans isn't well proven. Still, I'd play it safe. The aspirin, aluminum, and magnesium parts aren't the concern. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing the two, and don't drive until you know how you feel.

Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Codeine Phosphate, Magnesium Hydroxide also falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS.

Laboratory research shows that osthol, a constituent of cnidium, inhibits blood clotting and the activity of platelets. Theoretically, cnidium might increase the risk of bleeding when used with antiplatelet or anticoagulant drugs.
Some anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel (Plavix), dalteparin (Fragmin), enoxaparin (Lovenox), heparin, ticlopidine (Ticlid), warfarin (Coumadin), and others.

This combination product contains aspirin, which thins the blood by stopping platelets from sticking together. Cnidium contains a compound called osthole that, in lab and animal studies, also slows down platelets and clotting. So if you pair the two, you could be doubling up on that blood-thinning effect.

What this might look like in real life: easier bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or bleeding that takes longer to stop. Keep in mind this concern is theoretical and based only on laboratory and animal research, not human studies, so the actual risk for most people is uncertain. Still, since aspirin already affects bleeding, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, especially if you take aspirin daily.
