Here's something worth knowing about this combo. Dyazide and Maxzide pair a water pill (hydrochlorothiazide) with triamterene, a potassium-sparing diuretic that helps your body hold onto potassium. Coconut water is naturally loaded with potassium, so drinking a lot of it alongside this pill could nudge your potassium higher than you'd want. Too much potassium can cause muscle weakness, an irregular heartbeat, or tingling.

On top of that, early research hints coconut water may gently lower blood pressure on its own, which could add to the medication's effect and leave you feeling dizzy or lightheaded. This is mostly theoretical, and an occasional glass is unlikely to cause trouble. Still, if you drink it regularly, it's smart to mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.
