Avandamet combines two diabetes medicines, metformin and rosiglitazone, that both work to lower your blood sugar. The concern here is pretty mild: some early lab and animal studies hint that coconut water might nudge blood sugar a little lower on its own, possibly by bumping up insulin. If that effect were real in people, it could add to what your medicine already does and slightly raise the odds of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), with signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling foggy.

Honestly, this is very weak evidence, and an occasional glass of coconut water for hydration is unlikely to cause trouble. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Just keep an eye on how you feel, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before making it a regular daily habit.
