Nitrazepam is a benzodiazepine sleeping pill that already slows down your brain and body to help you fall asleep. The concern here is simple: Corydalis yanhusuo may have its own calming, sedative effect, so stacking it on top of nitrazepam could deepen that drowsiness. You might feel groggier than usual, extra sleepy the next morning, dizzy, or a bit unsteady on your feet, which raises the risk of falls.

I'll be honest with you, though: this warning is theoretical and comes mostly from animal studies, not solid human research, so we don't know how strong it really is in people. Still, since both can cause sedation, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. Please don't change your nitrazepam on your own.
