Hydralazine falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Corydalis Yanhusuo interacts with.

Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Here's the gist with Corydalis yanhusuo and your hydralazine: this herb may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. Since hydralazine already relaxes your blood vessels to bring your pressure down, stacking the two could add up and push your blood pressure lower than intended. In real life that might show up as dizziness, lightheadedness, a faster or pounding heartbeat, or feeling faint when you stand up.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. It's mostly theoretical, based on how the herb behaves in lab and animal studies, not solid human proof. Hydralazine is not a prodrug, so this isn't about how your body activates it, just a possible additive effect. Before adding corydalis, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on your readings.
