Here's the basic idea behind this one. Atropine works by blocking acetylcholine, the body chemical that drives things like saliva, digestion, and heart rate. Deanol (DMAE) is thought to push acetylcholine levels up. So in theory, the two are working against each other, and deanol could slightly chip away at how well atropine does its job.

In real life, this is a theoretical concern only, based on how these compounds behave on paper rather than on solid human studies. Any effect would likely be small. If atropine is being used for a specific reason (slowing secretions, treating a slow heart rate, or as part of a morphine combination), you'd just want to make sure it's still working as expected. Nothing to panic over, but it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
