Trimetrexate Glucuronate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Dhea interacts with.

Theoretically, DHEA might increase the levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Some preliminary evidence shows that DHEA may inhibit CYP3A4; however, the clinical significance of this potential interaction is not known.

Here's the gist with DHEA and trimetrexate (Neutrexin). Trimetrexate is cleared in part by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Some early lab hints suggest DHEA might slow that enzyme down a bit. If that happened, your body could clear trimetrexate a little more slowly, letting levels creep up. Since this is a potent drug, more in your system could mean a higher chance of its known side effects, like low blood cell counts, mouth sores, nausea, or liver irritation.

That said, this is theoretical and based only on weak, anecdotal evidence, and the real-world importance isn't proven. Trimetrexate is also used with leucovorin under close medical supervision, so please run any DHEA use past your oncologist or pharmacist first rather than deciding on your own.
