Here's the simple version: Ertugliflozin (Steglatro) already lowers your blood sugar by pushing extra glucose out through your urine. Some early animal studies hint that eyebright may also nudge blood sugar downward. If both work in the same direction, the worry is that your blood sugar could dip a little too low (hypoglycemia).

I want to be honest about how thin the evidence is here. This is based only on lab and animal research, not real people, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, if you take eyebright and notice shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or confusion, those can be signs of low blood sugar. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and keep an eye on your readings.
