Here's the gist: Toujeo (insulin glargine) already does one main job, which is to lower your blood sugar steadily over the day. Some animal studies hint that eyebright may also nudge blood sugar down a little. So in theory, pairing the two could add up and push your sugar lower than you want, raising the odds of hypoglycemia (think shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a fast heartbeat).

I want to be straight with you though: this concern comes only from lab and animal research, not from people, so it's far from proven. If you ever do try eyebright by mouth, it's smart to check your glucose a bit more closely at first and loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding it. Don't change your insulin dose on your own.
