Here's the basic idea with eyebright and your mealtime insulin, Insulin Lispro. This insulin already does one big job: it pulls sugar out of your blood and lowers your blood glucose. Some animal studies hint that eyebright might also nudge blood sugar down a little. Stack the two together and, in theory, you could end up lower than you intended.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is. It comes from lab and animal work, not real people, so the risk is more theoretical than proven. Still, with insulin even small extra drops matter, so watch for shaky hands, sweating, dizziness, or confusion. If you'd like to try eyebright, check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and don't change your insulin dose on your own.

What Is Insulin Lispro Injection Used For?

Brand names: Admelog, Admelog Solostar

Insulin lispro injection is used to improve glycemic control (blood sugar management) in people with diabetes mellitus. It is a rapid-acting insulin analog approved for use in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

Admelog is specifically indicated to improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes mellitus. Humalog Mix75/25 is indicated to improve glycemic control in adults with diabetes mellitus; it is a fixed-ratio mixture of insulin lispro and insulin lispro protamine, and its fixed proportions do not allow for separate adjustment of basal (background) and prandial (mealtime) doses.
