Here's the simple version: Humalog (insulin lispro) is a fast-acting insulin that lowers your blood sugar after meals. Some animal studies suggest eyebright may also nudge blood sugar down a bit. So in theory, pairing the two could push your sugar a little lower than expected, raising the chance of a low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) episode (shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or confusion).

I want to be honest, though: this is based only on lab and animal research, not real human data, so it's more of a maybe than a proven problem. Still, since insulin already lowers sugar powerfully, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before trying eyebright, and keep checking your glucose as usual.
