Here's the thing to know about this pairing: in some animal studies, eyebright appeared to nudge blood sugar downward. That's why it's grouped with diabetes treatments. But glucose itself isn't a diabetes drug, it's actually sugar given (often through an IV) to raise low blood sugar or provide energy. So the two work in opposite directions.

In plain terms, if eyebright really does lower blood sugar a bit, it could work against what glucose is meant to do, though we honestly don't have solid human evidence that this matters. This is theoretical, based only on lab and animal data, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you're managing blood sugar issues, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before trying eyebright.
