ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide
Aluminum Hydroxide, Aspirin, Magnesium Hydroxide falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Garcinia interacts with.
HCA inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro. The inhibitory effect seems to be greater in platelets extracted from diabetic subjects than non-diabetic subjects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist with this combination product (which pairs aspirin with antacids like aluminum and magnesium hydroxide). Aspirin already thins the blood by quieting down your platelets, the tiny cells that help you clot. In lab dishes, the hydroxycitric acid in Garcinia seems to slow platelets down too. So the worry is that stacking them could nudge your bleeding risk a little higher, think easier bruising, longer bleeding from a small cut, nosebleeds, or stomach irritation.
I want to be honest, though: this concern is theoretical and comes mostly from test-tube work, not from real patients. It's not a reason to panic. Still, since both touch your platelets, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Garcinia, especially if you take aspirin daily or have any bleeding history.

“Ascriptin combines aspirin with two antacids, aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide, and the aspirin part already thins the blood on its own. About Garcinia
What is Garcinia?
- Weight loss
- Appetite suppression
- Curbing sugar and carb cravings
- Supporting metabolism
- Traditional cooking and souring agent
Garcinia is a tropical fruit whose rind contains hydroxycitric acid (HCA), widely marketed for weight loss and appetite control. The scientific evidence is weak and mixed, with most studies showing only small or no meaningful weight effects, and rare reports of liver problems raise safety concerns. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before trying it, especially if you have liver issues, are pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
About Aspirin
What Is Aspirin Used For?
Brand name: Ascriptin
Aspirin is used to temporarily relieve minor aches and pains from headaches, backaches, muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, the common cold, and minor arthritis pain. It also temporarily reduces fever.
Some coated aspirin tablet products note that, under a doctor's supervision, aspirin can help prevent another heart attack or stroke in adults who have already had one. Because of their delayed-release design, those coated products will not give fast relief for headaches or other symptoms needing quick relief.
