Garcinia + Amoxapine
Amoxapine brand name: Asendin.
Garcinia has a moderate interaction with Amoxapine. Theoretically, combining garcinia with other serotonergic drugs might increase the risk of serotonergic side effects, including serotonin syndrome.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEROTONERGIC DRUGS
Why this applies to Amoxapine
Amoxapine falls under SEROTONERGIC DRUGS — the group Garcinia interacts with.
In one report, a patient experienced serotonin syndrome after taking garcinia extract (60% hydroxycitric acid) 1000 mg daily in combination with escitalopram 20 mg, which had been taken for a year. The patient was switched to sertraline 50 mg daily and again experienced serotonin syndrome.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the concern with pairing Garcinia and amoxapine. Amoxapine is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises serotonin levels in your brain. Garcinia, in a small number of case reports, has been linked to too much serotonin activity when taken with antidepressants. Stacking the two could, in theory, push serotonin too high and trigger what we call serotonin syndrome.
That means symptoms like agitation, a racing heart, sweating, shivering, muscle twitching, or confusion. I'll be honest though: this is based on a couple of anecdotal reports, not strong studies, so the actual risk is likely low. Still, since both touch serotonin, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Garcinia rather than starting it on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Amoxapine page
“Amoxapine (Asendin) is an older tricyclic antidepressant, and its supplement list deserves real care. Three of the 68 ingredients on file are rated major: activated charcoal can soak up the drug before your body gets it, lithium raises the risk of serotonin syndrome (a dangerous serotonin overload), and scopolia piles onto amoxapine's…”

Natural Medicines records Amoxapine as a medicine that can lower these. This is not an interaction with Garcinia — it is a separate effect of the medicine, and it is a reason some people are advised to supplement rather than to avoid one:
