Repaglinide falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Inositol Nicotinate interacts with.

Theoretically, inositol nicotinate might increase blood glucose levels and may diminish the effects of antidiabetes drugs.
Inositol nicotinate is metabolized to niacin in the body. Niacin can cause hyperglycemia, abnormal glucose tolerance, and glycosuria. Increased blood glucose monitoring may be necessary, particularly early in the course of treatment.

Here's the gist for repaglinide (Prandin): this medicine works by nudging your pancreas to release insulin so your blood sugar comes down. Inositol nicotinate slowly turns into niacin in your body, and niacin can actually push blood sugar up. So the two are working against each other. The supplement may make your repaglinide feel like it's not doing its job, and you could see higher readings than usual.

The good news is this is mostly a theoretical concern from how niacin behaves, and the effect tends to be most noticeable early on. If you and your doctor decide to use both, keep a closer eye on your home blood sugar numbers, especially in the first weeks. Don't start, stop, or adjust anything on your own. Repaglinide tablets are used to help control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes, together with diet and exercise. It is not a substitute for healthy habits — it works best as part of a full diabetes management plan.

Repaglinide is not for type 1 diabetes or for treating diabetic ketoacidosis (a dangerous condition where the blood becomes too acidic due to lack of insulin).
