Adalimumab-Atto falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Ipriflavone interacts with.

Concurrent use of ipriflavone and immunosuppressant drugs might have additive effects on inhibiting immune function. Some patients taking ipriflavone experience subclinical lymphocytopenia; avoid concurrent use. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the gist with Amjevita (adalimumab-atto): it's a biologic that calms an overactive immune system to treat conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease. Because it already lowers your immune defenses, the worry is a layering effect. Ipriflavone has been linked to a quiet drop in white blood cells (lymphocytopenia) in some people, so stacking it on top of an immune-suppressing drug could leave you a bit more open to infections.

This isn't about the supplement changing how Amjevita is processed (adalimumab is a protein antibody, not something an enzyme breaks down like a pill). It's simply two things nudging immunity in the same direction. To be safe, loop in your doctor or pharmacist before combining them, and watch for signs of infection like fever, sore throat, or feeling run down.
