Cortisone Acetate falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Ipriflavone interacts with.

Concurrent use of ipriflavone and immunosuppressant drugs might have additive effects on inhibiting immune function. Some patients taking ipriflavone experience subclinical lymphocytopenia; avoid concurrent use. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the concern with pairing ipriflavone and cortisone acetate. Cortisone is a corticosteroid, and one of its jobs is to quiet down your immune system. Ipriflavone has its own quirk: in some people it lowers white blood cell counts (a mild drop called subclinical lymphocytopenia). Put the two together and you may get an additive dampening of your immune defenses, which could leave you more open to infections or slower to clear them.

This isn't about cortisone building up or wearing off, it's about two things nudging your immune system in the same direction. Because the supporting research is solid, I'd play it safe. Don't start or stop either one on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you're prone to infections.
