Ocrelizumab falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Ipriflavone interacts with.

Concurrent use of ipriflavone and immunosuppressant drugs might have additive effects on inhibiting immune function. Some patients taking ipriflavone experience subclinical lymphocytopenia; avoid concurrent use. Immunosuppressant drugs include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), and other corticosteroids (glucocorticoids).

Here's the thing to know about pairing ipriflavone with Ocrevus (ocrelizumab). This isn't about one slowing down or speeding up the other in your liver. Instead, it's about overlap. Ocrevus already works by lowering certain immune cells (your B cells) to calm down the immune attack in MS. Ipriflavone, in some people, can quietly drop white blood cell counts too, including lymphocytes.

Stacked together, the worry is your immune defenses dip lower than intended, which could raise your risk of infections. You may not feel anything at first, since low counts often show no symptoms. Because of that overlap, I'd hold off on combining them and check with your neurologist or pharmacist first. Please don't change your Ocrevus on your own.

Ipriflavone is a synthetic isoflavone studied mainly for bone health and osteoporosis, but high-quality research has not shown that it reliably prevents fractures or builds strong bone. What Is Ocrelizumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Ocrevus

Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) is given by intravenous (IV) infusion and is approved for adults with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) — including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting MS, and active secondary progressive MS — as well as adults with primary progressive MS (PPMS).

Ocrevus is also approved for pediatric patients 10 years of age and older who weigh at least 25 kg (about 55 lbs) and have relapsing-remitting MS.
