Caffeine , Sodium Benzoate falls under STIMULANT DRUGS — the group Khat interacts with.

Cathinone, a constituent of khat, appears to have sympathomimetic effects and can increase blood pressure and heart rate. Theoretically, combining khat with other central nervous system (CNS) stimulant drugs might increase the risk of cardiovascular toxicity. Some CNS stimulants include nicotine, cocaine, sympathomimetic amines, and amphetamines.

Here's the simple version: khat acts like a stimulant in your body, much the way caffeine does. The injectable caffeine and sodium benzoate product is itself a stimulant that revs up your heart and nervous system. Stacking two stimulants together can pile on the effects, so on paper you'd worry about a faster heart rate, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, anxiety, and in heavier amounts heart rhythm problems.

I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on how these compounds behave rather than firm studies. Keep in mind khat is also a controlled substance and illegal in the U.S., so it shouldn't be used at all. If you have any heart or blood pressure history, please run this by your pharmacist or doctor before combining stimulants.
