Accuretic combines two blood pressure medicines: hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) and quinapril (an ACE inhibitor). Both work to bring your blood pressure down. Some early research hints that noni juice may also lower blood pressure a little on its own. So the concern here is simple: stacking noni on top of your Accuretic could push your blood pressure down more than expected.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or even faint, especially when you stand up quickly. To be fair, this is based on weak, anecdotal evidence, so it is not a strong or certain interaction. Still, if you want to try noni, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and don't change your Accuretic on your own.

Theoretically, combining noni and ACE inhibitors might increase the risk of hyperkalemia.
Noni juice contains significant amounts of potassium, about 6 mEq/100 mL juice. This may increase the risk for hyperkalemia when used in conjunction with ACE inhibitors, which can also increase potassium levels.

Here's the thing about Accuretic: it's a combo pill containing quinapril (an ACE inhibitor) plus hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill). The quinapril side tends to nudge your potassium up, while the water pill usually pulls it down. Noni juice happens to be fairly rich in potassium, around 6 mEq per 100 mL. So drinking a lot of it could tip the balance toward too much potassium, a condition called hyperkalemia.

To be honest, this concern is mostly theoretical and based on anecdotal reports, so it's a low-level worry for most folks. But high potassium can cause muscle weakness, an odd heartbeat, or tingling. If you have kidney trouble, be extra careful, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding regular noni.
