Here's the short version: both noni and the simvastatin part of Vytorin can, on rare occasions, be hard on your liver. Statins like simvastatin sometimes nudge up your liver enzyme levels, and there are scattered reports of noni causing liver trouble too. The worry is that stacking two things that lean on the liver might add up. This isn't about noni changing your drug levels, it's about a possible double hit to the same organ.

I'll be honest, this is based on anecdotal reports, not strong studies, so it's more of a caution than a red alert. Still, watch for signs like yellowing skin or eyes, dark urine, belly pain, or unusual tiredness. Before adding noni juice or capsules, check with your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you already have liver concerns.
