Testosterone Enanthate falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Padang Cassia interacts with.

There is some concern that ingesting large amounts of Padang cassia might cause hepatotoxicity in some people. Padang cassia contains coumarin. Coumarin has caused hepatotoxicity in animal models. In otherwise healthy humans, very high doses of coumarin, from 50-7000 mg daily, can result in hepatotoxicity that resolves when coumarin use is discontinued. Lower amounts might also cause liver problems in sensitive people, such as those with liver disease or those taking potentially hepatotoxic agents.

Here's the simple version: cassia cinnamons like Padang cassia naturally contain a compound called coumarin, and in very large supplement-sized amounts coumarin can be tough on the liver. Testosterone enanthate (Xyosted) can also occasionally affect liver values, so the worry is that stacking two things that may stress the liver could add up in sensitive people.

I want to be honest about how strong this is: it's theoretical, based on the chemistry, not on solid human studies of this combo. Sprinkling cinnamon on your oatmeal is almost certainly fine. Concentrated cinnamon capsules taken daily are where I'd pause, especially if you already have any liver issues. Since your doctor monitors testosterone levels and labs anyway, just mention any cinnamon supplement so they can keep an eye on your liver tests.

In vitro research shows that a methanol extract of Padang cassia inhibits cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) activity. Theoretically, taking Padang cassia with CYP3A4 substrates might increase the effects and side effects of these substrates.

Here's the gist for your testosterone injection. Your body partly clears testosterone using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test-tube study, an extract of Padang cassia (a cassia-type cinnamon) slowed that same enzyme down. On paper, slowing it could let a bit more testosterone hang around, which in theory might nudge up effects and side effects like acne, oily skin, mood changes, fluid retention, or a higher red blood cell count.

That said, this is only lab data, not real-world proof, and the effect in people is uncertain. Sprinkling cinnamon on your food is very unlikely to matter. Concentrated cinnamon capsules are the bigger question, partly because cassia also contains coumarin. Before adding a cinnamon supplement, just run it by your pharmacist or doctor.

About Testosterone Injection

What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?

Brand name: Xyosted

Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.

Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
