Rauwolscine + Levofloxacin
Levofloxacin brand names: Levaquin, Levaquin Injection, Leva-pak.
Rauwolscine has a moderate interaction with Levofloxacin. Theoretically, taking rauwolscine with seizure threshold lowering drugs might increase the risk of adverse convulsant effects.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS
Why this applies to Levofloxacin
Levofloxacin falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Rauwolscine interacts with.
In animal research, intraperitoneal rauwolscine lowered the seizure threshold level of the drug metrazol.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with this pairing. Levofloxacin is an antibiotic, and like other fluoroquinolones it can, on its own, slightly lower the seizure threshold in some people, meaning it can make the brain a bit more prone to convulsions. Rauwolscine, the stimulant in many fat-burner and pre-workout products, may push in the same direction. The worry is that stacking the two could add up and raise the small risk of a seizure, especially in folks who already have a seizure history.
I want to be honest about the evidence here: it's theoretical and comes from an animal study, not from people taking these two together. So this is more of a caution than a proven danger. Still, since you usually only take Levofloxacin for a short course, it's reasonable to pause the rauwolscine and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

About Rauwolscine
What is Rauwolscine?
- Fat loss and weight management
- Bodybuilding and physique support
- Energy and stimulant effects
- Athletic performance
- Libido support
Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is a stimulant alkaloid closely related to yohimbine that is marketed mainly in fat-burning and pre-workout supplements. Human evidence for its benefits is very limited, and it can raise heart rate and blood pressure and cause anxiety, so it should be used with caution and is not recommended for people with heart conditions, anxiety, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
About Levofloxacin
What Is Levofloxacin Used For?
Brand names: Levaquin, Levaquin Injection, Leva-pak
Levofloxacin treats bacterial infections in adults, including pneumonia (both community-acquired and hospital-acquired), skin infections, urinary tract infections, kidney infections, chronic bacterial prostatitis, and sinus infections. It is also used after exposure to inhalational anthrax and for plague.
Because levofloxacin carries significant risks, it should only be used for uncomplicated urinary tract infections, acute bacterial worsening of chronic bronchitis, and acute bacterial sinusitis when no other treatment option is available. Always use it only for infections confirmed or strongly suspected to be bacterial.
