Nebivolol falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Rhodiola interacts with.

Theoretically, taking rhodiola with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
In vitro and animal research shows that rhodiola extract inhibits angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and might lower blood pressure.

Here's the gist: Nebivolol (Bystolic) already works to bring your blood pressure down by relaxing your blood vessels and easing your heart rate. Rhodiola, at least in lab and animal studies, may nudge blood pressure a little lower too. Put the two together and there's a theoretical chance their effects stack up, leaving you with blood pressure that dips more than you'd like.

If that happened, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, unusually tired, or a bit faint, especially when standing up quickly. I want to be honest though: this is based on weak, early evidence, not real human studies, so it's far from certain. Still, if you take Nebivolol and want to try Rhodiola, run it past your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on how you feel.
