Here's the simple version. Your Anthrocol contains phenobarbital, a barbiturate that calms the nervous system and can make you drowsy. Shepherd's purse has been reported, mostly in older traditional and lab sources, to have its own mild sedative-like and calming effects. Put them together and the worry is simply additive: more sleepiness, grogginess, slowed thinking, or feeling unsteady on your feet.

I want to be honest about the strength of this. It is a theoretical concern based on how these substances behave, not from solid human studies, so it may never cause you trouble. Still, if you take this combination and notice extra drowsiness or dizziness, that's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
