Acepromazine falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Spearmint interacts with.

Theoretically, spearmint might alter the sedative effects of CNS depressants.
Animal research suggests that (-)-carvone, a major constituent of spearmint, has sedative effects. However, in humans, chewing spearmint-flavored gum induced arousal effects.

Here's the situation with these two. Acepromazine (Atravet) is a sedative most often used in animals to calm them down and relax the body. Spearmint contains a compound called carvone, and in animal studies that compound showed some mild calming effects of its own. The worry on paper is that spearmint might add a little to the drowsy, relaxed, sleepy state acepromazine already causes.

I want to be honest though: this is purely theoretical. We don't have human data showing a real problem, and oddly, chewing spearmint gum actually perked people up in one study. Everyday spearmint in food or tea almost certainly won't matter. If you're using a concentrated spearmint supplement alongside acepromazine, just run it by your pharmacist or vet first.
